Absentee Left Bids, Telephone Bids and Ebay Live Auction Bids
To submit a proxy bid via Absentee or Telephone you must be registered as a bidder for the auction. You can access our Registration form here. Please read the Auction Terms of Sale and request a Condition Report for the lot you are interested in prior to placing a bid. Previous customers may be able to arrange Absentee bids and Telephone bids by calling us at 239-262-7333.
- Absentee Left Bids
An Absentee Bid is a written authorization for one of our representatives to bid up to a specified dollar amount for you when you can not attend the auction in person. The representative will bid on your behalf, trying to purchase the lot or lots of your choice at the lowest price possible and the representative will not bid higher than the maximum price you authorize.
Bid increments must be in US Dollars and the bidding limit does not include Buyer's Premium, Sales tax and/or Shipping. No "buy" or "unlimited" bids will be accepted. Tie absentee bids are decided in favor of the earliest bid received. Tie bids with a live audience member will go to the person present in the Gallery.
To submit an absentee bid, list the lot number(s), description and maximum bid amounts on our Absentee Bid Form. Complete the information requested, print it, sign it and deliver or Fax the form to us along with your Bidder Registration Form Our Fax number is 239-262-1411.
- Telephone Bids
A telephone bid is a request to have an Auctions Neapolitan representative call you 3-5 minutes before the desired lot is auctioned so that you can submit your bid during the auction using the representative to relay your bid to the auctioneer. Bidders wishing to place telephone bids must agree to bid at least 1/2 the low estimate and the desired lot must be estimated at $250.00 or more. A 25% deposit may be required for telephone bids. We have a limited number of telephones and telephone bidding is offered on a first come, first served bases. We will not accept incoming calls for telephone bids during the auction
Arrangements for telephone bidding must be completed before 4:30 PM EST on the auction sale date. To submit your telephone bid request, please use our Telephone Bid form. Complete the information requested, print the form, sign it and deliver or Fax it along with the Bidder Registration form to Auctions Neapolitan. Our Fax number is 239-262-1411

- Ebay and Ebay Live Auction Bids
Ebay Live Auction bidding and Ebay Proxy Bidding is done directly on Ebay. To place an Ebay Proxy bid or to bid live during the auction with your computer you must be a registered user of Ebay. The auction catalogs and online bidding tools can be accessed at http://www.ebayliveauctions.com. or you can view the individual lot Ebay listings from our pages using the Ebay Listings link. Ebay offers many wonderful tutorials that explain the online process in much better detail than we can here. Proxy bidding is offered by Auctions Neapolitan as a courtesy to our clients. While we conscientiously attempt to execute all absentee and proxy bids, we are not liable for failure to properly execute a winning bid. It is also important to remember that while computers and the Internet have come a long way, they are not infallible. Bidding via the Internet can be convenient and thrilling. However, there can be problems with connectivity and simple human error. If it is vitally important for you to obtain a particular item at a particular price, please attend the auction, register and bid in person.
